BUA IRISH WHISKEY

“Bua” (pronounced Boo-ah) is the Gaelic Irish word for win or victory. With that in mind, Bua is very much a small Irish whiskey company, an underdog Irish whiskey company, and so we tip our hat to all other hardworking underdogs out there everywhere.Taking inspiration from that famous race between the hare and the tortoise in Aesop’s fable, we cheer on that hardworking underdog side that is in everybody. Each one of us is fighting some sort of quiet fight – a fight to better ourselves, to help ourselves, or to help others. Whatever fight you’re fighting, “Keep at it!” we say.
